HEARTBREAKING REVEAL – Veteran Fox News host Steve Doocy’s fight to “KEEP his wife Alive” moves viewers to Tears!

Steve Doocy and Wife Kathy: A Timeless Partnership Built on Love and Loyalty
Fox & Friends co-host Steve Doocy has been with Fox News since 1996, but even more enduring than his television career is his decades-long marriage to Kathy Gerrity Doocy. The couple, married since 1986, have built a life centered on love, family, and resilience.

Steve met Kathy at WRC-TV in Washington D.C. during the 1980s, where she worked as a former model and reporter. Their connection quickly blossomed, leading to their marriage in 1986. A year later, they welcomed their first child, Peter Doocy — now a familiar face at Fox News himself. They later had two daughters: Mary, now a practicing attorney, and Sally, who works as a Sales Planner at Fox News.
In 2007, Steve published The Mr. And Mrs. Happy Handbook, sharing humorous and heartfelt advice on marriage, including light-hearted suggestions like having “separate bathrooms” and holding hands in public as subtle reminders of affection.
Around 2015, Kathy was diagnosed with ocular melanoma during a routine eye exam. Thanks to early detection and prompt treatment at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, she has since recovered fully. The experience inspired her to create The Happy Cookbook, capturing beloved family recipes to preserve memories for her children.
Today, the couple remain closely bonded with their children. Peter describes them as his go-to mentors. “Both my parents have been through it all,” he shared in an interview. For Steve and Kathy, home has always been a steady foundation — a place their children can always return to. Their journey is not only a testament to career longevity but to unwavering family values.
