Sophie Cunningham is channeling her inner-Taylor Swift.
While recovering from a knee injury, Sophie watched on from the sideline as her Indiana Fever upset Allisha Gray and the Atlanta Dream 87-85 in Game 3 and advanced to the semifinals of the 2025 WNBA Playoffs.
This was the Indiana Fever’s first playoff series win in 10 years. Aliyah Boston scored the game-winning basket with 7.4 seconds remaining.
With Cunningham and Clark both sidelined, Kelsey Mitchell has stepped up for the Fever in the playoffs in a huge way.
Despite being sidelined, Sophie Cunningham is remaining active online.
Her latest video sent a message to male sports fans while using the voice of Taylor Swift.
“And we all know that if there’s one thing that male sports fans want to see in their spaces and on their screens, it’s more of me,” she mouthed to Taylor Swift as she got up and started dancing.
Taylor Swift said those words during an appearance on Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast. She has received backlash from football fans for being shown too many times on screen during NFL games, prompting the league to defend her appearance.
Less than two weks later, they would announced that they were engaged to be married.

Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham both ended up in the spotlight despite not playing a single game for weeks due to various injuries.
Following their shocking 87-85 win on Thursday, Clark and other Indiana players held up a “W” symbol with their hands as they walked off the Gateway Center court.
Cunningham was shown multiple times going insane near the bench area as she and the other injured players willed their teammates to a historic victory.
Up next, the Fever will be heading West to begin the semifinals, taking on the Las Vegas Aces in a best-of-five series.
Sophie Cunningham will once again be called on to help cheer on the team as they face a daunting task of trying to stop Aja Wilson and the Aces.
Kelsey Mitchell might have to average 30 points in this series. In the opening round against the Dream, she averaged 23.3 points and 3.0 assists.
