Angel Reese is getting ready to shine.

Last week, the Chicago Sky star revealed that she would become the first professional athlete to walk the Victoria’s Secret catwalk.

The WNBA sensation will strut her stuff on the runway at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Oct. 15, where she will appear alongside models Adriana Lima, Alex Consani, and Anok Yai.

On Wednesday, she was ready to go as she posed on the pink carpet alongside gymnast Suni Lee. Both ladies wore pink and white robes and fluffy slippers as they showed off their hair, which wasn’t quite finished yet.

“Angel Reese and Sunisa Lee prepare backstage at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show,” a post said on X.

The festivities start at 7 p.m. ET.

“I literally could not stop smiling!” the two-time All-Star told People’s Catherine Santino and Hedy Phillips.

“It’s such a surreal and full-circle moment — just last year I was in the audience manifesting being on that runway, completely inspired and in awe of all the powerful women walking down the runway, and now I get to return as an Angel. This will be an unforgettable night that I’ll forever be grateful for.”

Lee, who has previously broken the internet with her racy outfits, told Marie Claire’s Halie LeSavage that getting picked was “like a dream outside of my comfort zone.”

“Growing up, I didn’t see many girls who looked like me in spaces like this,” she said. “To now be here as an athlete, as someone who’s worked so hard to achieve her dreams, it feels powerful. I want young girls to know they don’t have to fit into just one box. You can chase Olympic gold and still own your femininity.”

Hate it or love it, but Angel Reese certainly knows how to keep herself in the news.

She has been making money from NIL deals since she was in college. Now that she is in the NBA, that money flow has not stopped.

Reese has a number of endorsement deals with brands like Reebok, Beats by Dre, Tampax, and Mielle Organics, as well as partnerships with Hershey’s Reese’s, PlayStation, Amazon, and Victoria’s Secret.

Selected 7th overall in the 2024 WNBA Draft, Reese has been a rebounding machine and smashing double-double records on the court for a subpar team.

Angel Reese is enjoying her WNBA offseason while promoting her brand deals and podcast, “Unapologetically Angel.”

The Reebok athlete has two years left on her rookie contract, but she has been at the center of trade rumors.
