After formally announcing his retirement from the NFL, former defensive tackle Breiden Fehoko decided to treat himself to a mega feast from McDonald’s.
On Friday, Breiden Fehoko announced his retirement from football with a moving Instagram post. The 29-year-old played three seasons in the NFL and won a national championship with the star-studded LSU Tigers in 2019.
So, how did Fehoko celebrate his retirement? After a workout on Friday, he went all-in with his order at a local McDonald’s: Two Filet-O-Fish sandwiches, two McChickens with Big Mac sauce, 20 piece McNuggets and two double cheeseburgers with Big Mac sauce:
Hey, when you’re 6-foot-3 and 300 pounds (Fehoko’s measurements, according to Pro Football Reference), and in prime shape, you can basically eat whatever you want on your cheat day.

Fehoko signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2020 and wound up spending his entire career there. Fehoko played 19 games over three seasons, recording 36 combined tackles.
The Pittsburgh Steelers had Fehoko on their roster during the 2023 and 2024 seasons, but he never wound up playing a snap for them. He was released by the AFC North club one final time in August, before the start of the regular season.
His younger brother, Simi Fehoko, also played for the Chargers in 2023 and 2024 and is currently on the Arizona Cardinals’ roster.
