BOMBSHELL: Joy Taylor Is Officially Back — Controversial Host Lands Exciting New Job
Joy Taylor is back!
In July 2025, Joy Taylor left Fox Sports after the network decided not to renew her contract following a major programming shakeup. Her show, Speak, was canceled, along with others.
The decision came months after her name appeared in a lawsuit involving sexual assault allegations against a former hairdresser.
Months before she lost her job, Taylor relaunched her podcast, Two Personal, as a solo host following a hiatus and the departure of co-host Taylor Rooks. The relaunched show continues to feature personal, candid discussions that have zero filter.
Aside from doing that, Joy Taylor vacationed a lot and spent a ton of time in the gym. Now, she has a new business venture.
Former Fox Sports Host Joy Taylor Has New Podcast

Nearly a year after her departure from Fox Sports, Taylor is launching a new daily sports podcast. It is called The Daily Play with Joy Taylor on the Urban One Podcast Network. Her show is a micro-podcast — five to 10 minutes per episode — covering the biggest sports stories of the day.
“I wanted to create something fast, focused, and always authentic. Sports fans are busy, but they want the context behind the conversation. With The Daily Play, I’m giving them what it means and what to watch next—in just a few minutes,” Taylor said in a prepared statement. “Joining Urban One allows me to talk directly to a loyal, engaged audience across the country. I’m excited to get back to my radio roots!”
Taylor was named as a defendant in a workplace misconduct suit filed in January 2025 by former Fox Sports hairstylist Noushin Faraji. The suit claimed that Faraji encountered a “misogynistic, racist, and ableist” workplace. It allowed for executives and talent to “physically and verbally abuse workers with impunity.”
Joy Taylor was also accused of using sexual favors with Charlie Dixon to advance her career. She denied all allegations.
