NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that the Chiefs have parted ways with wide receivers coach Connor Embree. The Chiefs finished with a woeful 6-11 record despite retaining the team’s star-studded core. That included Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Kareem Hunt, Isiah Pacheco, Hollywood Brown, and more.

“The Chiefs are moving on from WRs coach Connor Embree, a source said. There may be other changes to Andy Reid’s staff, but this talented group will have a new coach in 2026,” wrote Rapoport on X.

Embree spent seven seasons with the Chiefs organization. He joined as a defensive assistant in 2019. The Chiefs haven’t had a player hit the 1,000-yard receiving mark since Travis Kelce in 2022.

She further claimed abuse occurred over the course of years. Nichole added she was, “so tired of keeping quiet, I’m so tired of protecting his image.” The Chiefs, in a statement to Front Office Sports, said they are aware of the allegations against Rice.
