DWTS could have a brutal double elimination during Wicked Night (Image: ABC)
Dancing With the Stars brought confusion for some fans and plenty of tears for others during Dedication Night, but the show is now moving forward towards it’s Wicked-themed episode–and it may involve a ‘wicked’ double elimination that will break fans hearts.
The ABC competition series opted not to eliminate anyone during the night of emotionally charged performances which honored parents, siblings, partners, children and mentors for the remaining celebrity contestants.
And while there were moments that were deemed “unfair” by the cast after the fact, they were all spared a trip out of the ballroom for on
Unfortunately, that means an elimination is definitely on the horizon at the end of week 6. With the show skipping one week, it could also mean two teams will go home as the show marches closer and closer to its conclusion.
Double or not, there are some teams who seem most at risk though when it comes to having to say goodbye.

For the first time, Jen Affleck seems potentially in jeopardy on DWTS (Image: ABC)
For the first time, things are looking grim for Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jen Affleck and her partner, Jan Ravnik.
The pair landed at the bottom of the judges leaderboard at the end of the night, tying with Danielle Fishel for the second lowest-scores, earning 29 out of 40 points for their Viennese Waltz.
While they do continue to trend closer to the bottom of the pack though, there still is likely enough of a fan base that could keep them going a little longer–though they may need to really step it up when it comes to impressing the judges.
Someone else who has also been faltering with the judges could also find themselves at risk of elimination as well, which may give Jen and Jan a safety net for a little longer.

Scott Hoying continues to trend near the bottom of the judges leaderboard, leaving him at risk (Image: ABC)
Scott Hoying and Rylee Arnold have continued to trend on the bottom of the judges leaderboard as well throughout the competition, keeping them at risk of possible elimination.
The pair did see some slight improvement with their Foxtrot, which saw them net 30 points, but they do still have the second-lowest average score of the season, with only 20.2 points.
The pair will need to truly step it up to prove they are contenders if they want to stay off the chopping block, but may still have a strong enough fan base to help them get through for another week.
One celebrity who also likely has a strong base to propel her through may also be at risk of elimination, after failing to wow the judges with her most recent routine.

After a brutal critique of their performance, things don’t look good for Danielle Fishel and Pasha (Image: ABC)
That celebrity is Danielle Fishel, who, alongside partner Pasha Pashkov, received a brutal critique from Carrie Ann Inaba over their Boy Meets World-themed Jive, dedicated to her former co-star, Bill Daniels.
Unsurprisingly, after the harsh critique, they earned only 29 points, landing them firmly at the bottom of the leaderboard, only ahead of Andy Richter.
They also have only a slightly better average than Scott and Rylee, with a 20.4 for the season, which also doesn’t bode well for them when it comes to progress each week.
If there is a double elimination, then they could very likely see themselves officially cut from the competition.

Andy Richter’s time on DWTS is most likely coming to an end (Image: ABC)
Of course, double elimination or not, there is one star who truly may be forced to say goodbye now, despite a loyal and passionate fan base that has loved his big heart all season long–and that is Andy Richter and his partner, Emma Slater.
Though Andy’s efforts to improve have been noticeable, and he has been one of the easiest to love celebrities, the competition has reached a point where those who have grown and improved immensely, as well as those who have been top performers from the start, are likely to continue on–leaving him falling farther and farther down the leaderboard.
Dedication night saw him earn a 24 out of 40–the third week in a row where he received only 6’s from the judges, keeping him 12 points away from the best dance of the night, which scored 36 points. Distances like that do start to become insurmountable–meaning the comedian’s time on the show may officially be coming to an end.
