A New York Giants fan has earned herself some notoriety and possibly a new nickname – Giants Karen – after going viral for stealing a sweatband from a kid after Patrick Mahomes handed it to him following the Kansas City Chiefs’ win in Week 3.

The woman was caught on camera snatching the headgear from the kid’s hand, much to his disappointment. Then she dared to make a video bragging about it, claiming the Chiefs QB came straight to her, notwithstanding the fact that she’s a Giants fan.

“She just made herself infamous. Video clearly shows Mahomes was looking directly at the boy when he gave him the headband,” someone commented.

“She honestly thinks he was trying to give this old Giants fan his headband and not the Chiefs fan kid?” asked a second.

“Everyone needs to spread the word, this is disgusting,” said a third.

“This lady is a 🤡!” another user declared.

Will Patrick Mahomes Come Through For Scorned Kid?

This act follows a string of such incidents, with the Phillies Karen incident the most notable. The kid from that fiasco got lots for his trouble, including a signed bat.

Whether the boy who lost the headband to Giants Karen gets anything from the Chiefs or Mahomes remains to be seen. But we imagine the QB would be inclined to hook him up once he catches wind of this.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs have since picked up another win, beating the Baltimore Ravens 37-20 on Sunday, with Mahomes putting in another dominant performance, throwing for 270 yards and four touchdowns in the victory.
