Things tend to get heated between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals, and Jalen Ramsey added to it with his behavior on the field on Sunday.

With roughly 13 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter of Pittsburgh’s 34-12 win, the Steelers’ cornerback and Bengals receiver Ja’Marr Chase got into it.

Suddenly, Ramsey pu/nched Chase in the helmet and was disqualified from the game.

Ramsey’s unsportsmanlike conduct penalty turned a would-be fourth-and-1 for the Bengals into a first down. Luckily, the team won the game easily.

Once the game was over, Jalen Ramsey had something to reveal.

Jalen Ramsey Says Ja’Marr Chase Spit On Him

Ramsey accused Chase of spitting on him after the game.

“He spit on me. So, it’s up,” Ramsey said. “I don’t give a f— about football after that. Respectfully.”

Chase and Ramsey were involved in multiple scuffles during the third quarter and were called for offsetting penalties. On the very next play, Ramsey threw a pu/nch at Chase.

Chase told reporters after the game that he didn’t spit on Ramsey.

“The first time we had an altercation, and then it was the second time,” Chase said. “Something got under his skin.”

The NFL will certainly review footage to determine if it actually happened.

In September, Jalen Carter was ejected six seconds into a game after he spat on Dak Prescott. Much like Jalen Ramsey, Carter revealed that Prescott spat at him first.

Even without Ramsey, the Steelers did hold Chase in check. He finished with just three receptions for 30 yards on 10 targets.
