Kate Martin randomly pulled out Caitlin Clark’s trading card and hyped up her former teammate as she shared the moment on TikTok.

Kate Martin and Caitlin Clark share a special bond that grows stronger as they cross paths on multiple occasions, both on and off the court. One such moment came unexpectedly as the Valkyries’ star pulled out CC’s trading card. She shared the video on TikTok, which went viral.

Undoubtedly, the Indiana Fever star’s cards hold immense value as the Clark Rookie Card smashed the Women’s Sports auction record in a recent sale. Although Martin didn’t get her friend’s exclusive trading card, her reaction made the moment wholesome.

From the pack, she first received Natasha Cloud’s trading card and then Sheryl Miller’s card. In the second bunch, she got Katie Douglas, and then the moment came as she pulled out the Fever rookie’s card. As soon as she found out it was Clark’s card, she shouted “let’s go” and took the Fever guard’s name in a hyped-up tone.

She captioned the memorable video with “dude might just make this a thing now.” Caitlin Clark also reacted to the video, saying, “I will sign it for you.”

The video quickly went viral as fans loved the connection and love between the two stars. Clark and Martin spent four years together in Iowa, playing for the Hawkeyes, and won two conference championships. They even made it to back-to-back NCAA finals, setting multiple records in the process. While CC was a dominant force in college basketball, Martin has an upper hand in the W.

Kate Marin Is Still Unbeaten Against Caitlin Clark In The WNBA

Kate Martin’s selection in the WNBA was also a coincidence, as the player came to the draft to show support for her best friend, but the Las Vegas Aces selected her in the 2024 WNBA draft as the 18th overall pick.

The stars then faced each other on multiple occasions during the two years, with Martin representing Aces and Valkyries during that time. Clark played in 53 regular-season games, during which she faced her former teammate on five occasions. Interestingly, Martin ended up on the winning side in all five games.

During the 2025 offseason, Kate Martin will participate in the Unrivaled season 2, while Caitlin Clark will focus on recovering from her injury to return to complete fitness before the 2026 season.
