Tracy Wolfson has another NFL season ahead of her, and the longtime CBS Sports sideline reporter looks ready for it.
Wolfson is now 51 and shared a photo on social media Friday morning as the 2026 NFL season gets underway. She wrote in the caption, “It’s that time again.” The post was checked out by football fans, who filled the comments with praise for the veteran reporter.
Wolfson has spent 22 years with CBS and has covered the NFL for the network since 2014. She also regularly works NCAA Tournament games. Her long career has made her one of the familiar faces on CBS Sports broadcasts.
According to her CBS Sports bio, Wolfson started her on-air career in 2000 at WZBN-TV in Trenton, New Jersey. She later worked for Oxygen Sports, Long Island News Tonight, and News-12 Long Island. She first joined CBS Sports in 1997 as a researcher and worked on events that included the U.S. Open Tennis, the 1998 Olympic Winter Games, and the 1997 NCAA Final Four.

Wolfson is staying on CBS’ top NFL broadcast team this season. She’ll be working the sideline this Sunday for the big Packers-Vikings game.
Jim Nantz is still the main voice calling the plays. J.J. Watt is stepping in beside him as the game analyst, taking over for Tony Romo after CBS pulled him from the booth following his recent arrest in Wisconsin for drunk driving and having open alcohol in the car.
