Nika Muhl Causes a Stir With Her Beach Pics Amid ACL Recovery [PHOTOS]
Nika Muhl is killing it off the court.
Coming into the league, Nika Muhl was supposed to be a star. Things have not worked out for her at all.
She was drafted by the Storm at No. 14 in the 2024 WNBA Draft. During her first season in Seattle, she appeared in 16 games, averaging 2.8 minutes per game. Unfortunately, Muhl missed the 2025 season due to a torn anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus she suffered while playing for Turkish basketball club, Besiktas.
A 5-11 guard from Zagreb, Croatia, Nika Muhl established herself as one of the top passers in UConn history. Unfortunately, she has been unable to showcase her skills due to injury.
She won’t be playing in her second-straight season because of a knee injury. This time, after tearing her right ACL during a March 11 game for Croatia in EuroBasket qualifying.
At least she can still enjoy herself doing other things that she likes.
Nika Muhl Hits The Beach In a New Swimsuit

During the 2026 WNBA Expansion Draft, the Portland Fire utilized their pick to acquire the player contract of Nika Muhl from the Seattle Storm. She won’t be playing for them this year due to injury.
In the meantime, while she is rehabbing, she found time to hit the beach. She was back home in Croatia when she reached Otok Drvenik Mali, an island in the area.
She first posted herself rocking a gray top that was hanging off her right shoulder. The second picture shows her relaxing and posing on an inflatable paddleboard and floating in clear, turquoise water. She is propped up on one arm on the board, looking off to the side away from the camera.
That picture shows her wearing a black, long-sleeve swim top with patterned sides and sleeves, paired with dark swim bottoms.
In her final picture, Nika Muhl was sitting on a pink-and-white patterned beach towel spread out on a rocky, sandy shoreline. She was wearing a two-piece bikini featuring a dark blue/navy base color with vibrant neon yellow trim and straps.
Muhl also wore a khaki-colored baseball cap backward.
Nika Muhl averaged 5.8 points and 5.2 assists per game during her time at UConn. She was a two-time Big East Defensive Player of the Year, named to the AP All-America Honorable Mention squad in 2024, and earned All-Big East recognition for three straight seasons.
It’s only a matter of time before she gets to prove herself.
