Today Show co-host Savannah Guthrie’s mother, Nancy Guthrie, has gone missing, and it has officially turned into a crime scene. She was last seen outside of her Tucson, Arizona home on Saturday, January 31st, 2026. Now, her final social media posts have been revealed, and they are raising red flags, but why? Savannah Guthrie’s Mom’s Final Post Revealed

When Savannah Guthrie’s mother, Nancy Guthrie, went missing, there were a lot of questions. Was she ill? Had she been sick previously? Was she on any medications? Furthermore, had she gone missing in the past, or would she leave her home for any reason? Nancy, 84, was last seen outside of her Arizona home on January 31st and was reported missing the following afternoon. It seemed that she was absent from church, and that caused suspicion. Therefore, the church contacted her family, so the Guthries searched the home before realizing Nancy was nowhere to be found.

Now, it is clear that something has gone awry, and her final Facebook posts have been revealed. It appears that they may have raised some red flags as she stopped posting on January 27th. That was days before she was allegedly last seen. Nancy had a plethora of political posts, her last one involving the death of Alex Pretti. Additionally, she posted daily, or twice a day, and seemed to be quite liberal and left-leaning. In the midst of all of the politics, Nancy did have an educational post on how to play mahjong.

Savannah Guthrie had just returned to The Today Show after being away for vocal cord surgery. She did send an appreciative message to all who had been there with love and support. However, she was hopeful that her mother would be found and gave out the contact number for anyone who had a lead. There is a lot of concern for Nancy as she cannot go more than twenty-four hours without her medication.

Hoping It Will Stick

At this point, authorities are desperate for an answer. They are doing everything they can in Arizona to find Nancy Guthrie, but it has become a scary situation. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos spoke out at a press conference. While there, he shared this information:

“We’re pretty much just throwing everything at this that we can. Guthrie is 84 years old and is not of good physical health, and so naturally that’s a great concern. This is very concerning to us. We don’t typically get the sheriff out at a scene like this. But it’s very concerning what we’re learning from the house. And so we’ll just continue. The detective’s homicide team is out right now looking at the scene as well.”

Hopefully, things can flip, and Nancy can be reunited with her family. There have been questions regarding why someone would want to take her and if it had to do with Savannah Guthrie’s fame.
