The North Carolina Tar Heels had a lot of hype coming into the 2025 season. It did not take very long for it to die.

The program hired head coach Bill Belichick, and everything went downhill as his relationship with Jordon Hudson became a main topic of conversation.

It has gotten so bad that even Jon Gruden had to unleash a savage rant about it.

On Saturday, the team was back at home playing the Clemson Tigers, who aren’t too hot in 2025 either. Fortunately for them, they are much better than the Tar Heels.

The only thing that went right for the team on Saturday was the broadcast briefly showing a North Carolina Tar Heels fan in the stands.

The unnamed woman was the only thing that looked good about the program on Saturday.

Fans didn’t wait until halftime to leave Kenan Memorial Stadium on Saturday as Bill Belichick’s Tar Heels football team gave them no reason to stay and support.

Things went from bad to worse for Bill Belichick and company.

North Carolina dropped to 2-3 on the year with a blowout loss to Clemson. The Tar Heels fell to the Tigers, 38-10.

North Carolina has seen better days. The program has been to six straight bowl games but has lost the last five.

The last time the team won double-digit games was in 2015.
