What is going on with Angel Reese?

Reese is a feisty competitor who can sometimes see her emotions take over while on the court.

Unlike her first season in the WNBA, the Chicago Sky are not starting out well, and things are not looking good.

As she prepared to take on Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever once again, Reese showed up to the arena dressed in a high-gloss black leather trench coat and then proceeded to have a terrible game on the court.

The stakes were high heading into the game. The Fever had dealt the Sky a demoralizing 35-point loss the last time they faced off, and not much would change this time around as the Sky got blown out again.

Reese had a challenging performance against the Indiana Fever on Saturday, scoring just four points with 12 rebounds. Despite Reese’s efforts, the Chicago Sky lost the game by 27 points.

Angel Reese averaged 13 points and 13 rebounds per game for the Chicago Sky last season.

During the 2025 season, Reese is averaging 9 points and 12 rebounds per game while shooting roughly 30 percent from the field.

Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky came into the 2025 WNBA season looking to take a big step from last year. So far, things have not gone according to plan.

Following their loss at home to the Indiana Fever on Saturday night, the Sky dropped to 2-5 on the season. That loss showed just how far away the Sky truly is from competing, at least at this point.
