Caitlin Clark is a huge fan of Indiana Fever teammate Sophie Cunningham, and it would be hard to argue that the feeling isn’t mutual, especially after Sophie tried to fight an opposing player for her in a fit of revenge.

The two have become besties since the latter joined the Fever earlier this year, and their interactions have even gotten people to suggest that there’s a bit more than meets the eye.

Clark, though, is in a relationship… with a man. Sophie is single, but has made it clear that she’s looking to get back in the dating game, also with a man. Despite these facts, they seem to be leaning into the rumors, and we don’t doubt that they’re having fun watching everyone go off on social media when they get too close or shoot curious looks at each other.

The sharpshooter, who just returned to the team following an injury, loved the pregame outfit her teammate pulled up in before their win over the Dallas Wings on Sunday.

Clark’s showdown with the 2025 No. 1 overall pick, Paige Bueckers, was highly anticipated. And she got the better of the rookie, winning 102-83.

The former Iowa star scored 14 points and added 13 assists, while her backcourt partnership with Sophie saw the former Phoenix Mercury guard register 13 points and three assists and snatch five boards.

Cunningham also went viral before the game, which has become typical, given her outfit choices.

She posted a photo dump to her Instagram, with a snap showing off her stomach in a revealing crop top.

“you know what, HELL YEA FEVER NATION😏,” she wrote as the caption.

Clark’s reaction said it all.

“Touchdownnnnnnn,” she wrote. “That’s that football experience baby.”

Of course, Caitlin wasn’t the only one who appreciated the post.

“HELL YEAHHHHHH🔥🔥🔥,” a fan added.

“MEOWING IN THOSE PANTS 🔥🔥🔥,” said another.

“fire me upppppp 🤪🤪,” one user wrote.

The Fever are in action next against the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday night.
