Hawk, who plays Detective Abigail Baker on the CBS show, confirmed that there had been discussions about a possible spinoff. However, she noted that it would likely have to occur in a different city and follow a different family. Hawk’s quote is included below:

There was talk of a spin-off happening. But if it did happen, so immediately after our series ends, it would have to be not involving the Reagan’s or the NYPD at all. It would have to be set in LA or we follow a different family.

Not to mention a cast that includes Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Len Cariou, Marisa Ramirez, and Vanessa Ray. A spinoff may not be the same without their presence.
