Many fans and critics of the soap opera are saying that Lucky Spencer, who is a resident in the fictional town, ‘must stink’ after donning the same clothes for ages.

Lucky Spencer, played by Jonathan Jackson, has left fans fuming over his unkempt look after he returned to the soap at the end of the summer.

The fictional character from the ABC Daytime soap is the son of Luke and Laura Spencer.

Taking to a Reddit thread dedicated to the soap opera, fans of the show have aired their concerns about Lucky and how he has ‘greasy hair’ while donning the same clothes for several episodes.

“Lucky has probably been to visit half the people in Port Charles, still wearing the same grimy clothes and greasy hair that he had on in Africa,” penned the original poster.

They concluded their post by asking, “If this was real, he’d stink to high heaven by now. How about a shower, buddy?”

Many fellow General Hospital fans were quick to weigh in with their thoughts.

“LOL, I said exactly the same thing today. He’s been going to visit everybody in town, but hasn’t had time to take a shower and brush his hair,” penned one.

“He’s had the greasy hair look for a long time now, even in Nashville,” added another.

A third person then said, “He’s beginning to look downright gross. I would think most people would want to take a shower first thing….you’d think the writers would know that.”

While a fourth added, “A haircut and a shave wouldn’t hurt either.”

“Yep I’m having a hard time looking at him looking so grimy. Unfortunately, I think that’s just the way he looks in or out of character,” said a fifth.

MAJOR DISTRACTION

And a sixth person went on to plead, “OMG, thank you! That’s pretty much all I can think about when he’s on screen.

Meanwhile, spoilers for this evening’s episode reveal that fans will find out if Lucky manages to save his sister tonight.

LUCKY’S TEST RESULTS

In the soap, Lucky’s sister Lulu Spencer, played by Alexa Havins, needs a liver transplant after developing cirrhosis of the liver from medication she took while in a coma.

Lucky has recently been undergoing tests to see if he is a match to give his sister a transplant.

Recent scenes revealed that the preliminary report looked good and hinted that he was clearly a match, although they needed to make sure he was healthy enough to make the donation.

There’s a lot of speculation out there that Lucky’s liver function won’t be good enough to make the donation, and Sam McCall, played by Kelly Monaco, will end up being the donor after her death.
