Ivanka Trump breaks silence with four-word message as Donald found guilty after trial she snubbed
Ivanka Trump has broken her silence sharing a heartfelt message to her dad after he was found guilty in his hush money trial on Thursday.
The former first daughter posted a photo of Donald Trump holding her as a child on to Instagram Stories and captioned the image “I love you dad” with a heart emoji.
Trump was convicted of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records after reportedly offering Stormy Daniels hush money. Trump’s charges fall into three different categories: invoices for legal services, checks paid for legal services, and ledger entries for legal services. The jury’s decision was reached following nine hours of deliberation.

This unprecedented conviction comes amid Trump’s ongoing campaign for president. He is currently the purported front runner for the Republic party with the RNC on the horizon. While he is still eligible to run for the office, the felony will limit him from voting. Additionally, if elected, he will not be able to pardon himself.
He now awaits sentencing with potential jail time on the line. The former president is expected to admit guilty to an assigned probation officer or else face an aggravating factor on a report that will be submitted to the judge.
If sentenced to jail, he could potentially be sent to Riker’s with the inability to travel to promote his campaign across the United States. There is also potential for Trump to be put on probation which will still limit his ability to travel, but will give him the option to file requests to the contrary. Those requests will be at the discretion of the probation officer, though, and are not guaranteed to be approved.

After the decision was handed down, Trump maintained his innocence, calling the jury’s verdict as a “disgrace.” He insisted that the trial was “rigged, disgraceful.” He pointed to November for the “real verdict” to occur, referring to the polls on election day.
District Attorney Alvin Bragg said during a press conference: “While this defendant may be unlike any other in American history, we arrived at this trial — and ultimately today at this verdict — in the same manner as every other case that comes through the courtroom doors: by following the facts and the law, and doing so without fear or favor.”
