Former and incoming First Lady Melania Trump was spotted at the Mar-a-Lago New Year’s Eve celebration alongside President-elect Donald Trump and Elon Musk.  As the “YMCA” blared throughout the venue, the incoming stole the show with his signature “Trump dance” while Melania displayed her own choreographic rendition.

Users on social media reacted to the clip, which quickly went viral, praising Melania for her elegance and beauty.  The popular X account FLOTUS Report shared the clip on X, writing, “BREAKING: Melania Trump debuts her very own YMCA Trump dance at last night Mar-a-Lago NYE celebrations 😂 What a fun night! President Trump and her father, Viktor, by her side. All smiles ❤️”

A comment from investor Daniel Gabai noted the vibrant atmosphere at the Mar-a-Lago celebration while drawing attention to Melania’s dancing. “Melania doing the YMCA dance feels like the most unexpected yet perfectly fitting way to kick off 2025. Who knew elegance and disco could blend so seamlessly? Looks like Mar-a-Lago was the place to be last night,” the comment read.

One person wrote in the comments section, “Love seeing Melania having a good time. I have never seen her so animated. Dancing & singing along. Go for it Melania you are the most wonderful First Lady.”  Another person said, “Melania Trump was treated horribly as the First Lady of America first time around. The American Tribune reported on a recent appearance Melania made on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” where the first lady addressed her husband’s viral “Trump dance,” which took the internet by storm in the wake of the 2024 election as conservatives celebrated the decisive victory over Vice President Kamala Harris.

Melania was asked by Fox News co-host Steve Doocy, “What we have seen since he was elected and over the last couple of months, is that calmness and maybe gratitude, or whatever it is. But something else we’ve seen is he seemed so kind of happy and loose because last night at the Patriot Awards, I think we got a clip … he was doing the Trump dance. And I’m sure, I’m sure you’ve seen that evolve … How do you describe your husband’s dance moves?”

She answered, “Oh, this is a very special and unique dance.” Melania added, “And I think a lot of people are copying it, and everybody has had fun with it.” Melania was asked if she had partaken in the dance, “Is this how you dance?” She instantly responded, “No.” However, Melania was asked again, “Did you give him any tips?” In a joking but also stern manner, Melania replied, “No,” for a second time. “Have you ever done the Trump dance? You are, Mrs. Trump,” Melania was asked yet again, to which she said, “I did not.”
