Sha’Carri Richardson has landed herself a new deal with Nike despite being arrested for domestic violence earlier this year.

The sprinter had a regrettable brush with the law just a few months ago, but it doesn’t appear to have affected her brand as she’s been unveiled as one of the faces of Kim Kardashian’s new Skims campaign.

Kim K revealed her line’s latest collection on Monday, with the likes of Serena Williams, Chloe Kim, Nelly Korda, and Jordan Chiles all joining as models, per TMZ. Sha’Carri was among them in spite of her recent legal troubles and some damning video footage that put her in a very bad light.

Kardashian partnered with Nike back in February, a deal she referred to as a no-brainer, given her vision for her brand.

“Our mission is simple: to redefine the rules of women’s activewear,” she said. “No more compromises. We’re combining high-performance innovation with sexy, style-forward design for all women who demand both.”

Richardson was arrested in late July after repeatedly hitting her boyfriend, Christian Coleman, at an airport in Seattle.

She was caught on camera lying to police about the incident and has since admitted that she needs help.

The Dallas, Texas, native already had a deal with Nike worth a reported $20 million. She is also sponsored by major brands such as Beats, Sprite, Android, and Olay, plus several more.

Nike continued promoting her imagery on its website after the arrest.

Sha’Carri Richardson was held for 19 hours at the South Correctional Entity in Des Moines, Washington, but will not face a trial due to a lack of cooperation from Coleman, who insisted he did not want her arrested in the first place.
