Shaquille O’Neal doesn’t seem to believe Klay Thompson’s relationship with Megan Thee Stallion will last that long. In fact, he reckons Klay will not go into the 2025/26 NBA season with the rapper as his partner.

The former Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat center riffed on the surprise couple during a recent episode of his podcast, ‘The Big Podcast with Shaq,’ with co-host Adam Lefkoe bringing them up.

Shaq didn’t say too much, but he made it clear that Klay and Megan would not go past “six weeks.”

That’s all he said after the topic came up and, pressed for clarity, he repeated himself.

“Six weeks!”

Mike Tyson, a guest on the show, gave the new celebrity couple a better chance.

Klay and Megan appear to have something serious going on and are definitely one of the hottest couplings across sports and entertainment at the moment.

The hip-hop star recently posted a playful workout video showing them in the gym, joking that the Dallas Mavericks sharpshooter was plotting her downfall during Russian twists and teasing him for holding her butt while she was working on the pull-up bar.

“I don’t think I needed that much assistance, but I think that was his favorite part of the workout,” she quipped.

A few days prior, they showed up on the red carpet at Megan’s Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in New York City.

Megan referred to Klay as “the nicest person I’ve ever met,” while he praised her charitable work.

Of course, time will tell whether Shaquille O’Neal is right. While the relationship might not go the distance, a six-week period doesn’t seem realistic.
