Travis Kelce finally showed up, and naturally, everyone noticed, whether it’s on a football field or courtside at a Stanley Cup Final.

On Tuesday, the Kansas City Chiefs star tight end showed up to mandatory minicamp for the first time this offseason, and fans and teammates couldn’t look away.

Kelce, 35, spent most of the spring balancing a packed schedule. He vacationed with girlfriend Taylor Swift after the Super Bowl, soaked in Cannes, and popped up at Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final in Sunrise, Florida.

But even with the A-list appearances, Kelce stayed locked in. He trained intensely near Miami, skipping part of the team’s OTAs with the Chiefs’ full awareness.

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the veteran went “hardcore” this offseason, shedding about 25 pounds to stay light and productive for what could be his final NFL campaign.

Slimmer Look, Bigger Buzz

When Kelce stepped onto the practice field Tuesday, fans immediately noticed the transformation. Fowler noted Kelce “vowed to change” his playing weight after suiting up heavier in 2024 and took that goal seriously.

“This could be the last dance here for him,” Fowler said on SportsCenter“Mid-thirties, still a productive player. They want to go to him on third downs.”

The fans brought the energy as Kelce’s trimmed-down frame and smooth footwork caught their attention.

One person joked, “After being in Cannes yesterday too… he’s got so much energy, perhaps he’s really 3.5 years old.”

A woman added, “87 looks slim trim and ready to dominate.”

One X user clapped back at offseason doubters with, “Here ya go asshats… you guys sound dumb AF right about now. Championship season incoming.”

As training camp inches closer, Kelce looks locked in for another push. Lighter on his feet, louder in the headlines, and still a heartbeat of Kansas City’s offense, he’s back, and the league is watching
