Chicago Sky star Angel Reese couldn’t help but refuel her personal rivalry with Caitlin Clark during the 2025 WNBA All-Star weekend.

A groin injury sidelined Caitlin Clark for this week’s All-Star festivities in Indianapolis, Indiana. Clark was one of the two designated captains for the All-Star Game, along with Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier.

Clark may not have been able to suit up for the 2025 WNBA All-Star weekend, but it didn’t stop Angel Reese from taking a shot at her archenemy.

Reese posted a video on Instagram during the All-Star weekend, including a clip that read, “WALK IN YOUR TRAP TAKEOVER YOUR TRAP”. On the post’s caption, Reese wrote, “I’M IN YOUR CITYYY…….”

That appears to be a shot at Clark, whose personal rivalry with Angel Reese dates back to the 2023 women’s NCAA basketball national championship game. In the waning seconds of the LSU Tigers’ blowout victory Clark’s Iowa Hawkeyes, Reese tauned her opponent with John Cena’s “You can’t see me gesture,” which Clark had used earlier in the tournament.

The Sky have met the Indiana Fever twice in the 2025 regular season, with Clark’s squad winning the first two games. They’ll square off again on July 27 and August 9.

At the All-Star break, the Sky have the third-worst record in the league (7-15), ahead of only the 6-17 Dallas Wings and 3-19 Connecticut Sun. Chicago is four games behind the Las Vegas Aces for the final playoff berth.

But Angel Reese has done her part to keep Chicago competitive, averaging 14 points, 12.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game.
