Angel Reese has been branded a “money glitch” following a video popping up on social media showing a group of bettors cashing out after taking punts on her to do the same thing every outing.
Reese just started her second WNBA season with the Chicago Sky, but doesn’t appear to have improved her shooting all that much. She’s now considered a sure bet to miss her first shot every game.
The clip below shows a group of guys celebrating her miss against the Dallas Wings on Thursday night, having put down a hefty sum on her to fail to hit her first field goal attempt.
“These guys betting on Angel Reese to miss her first shot of every game might be on the biggest and most diabolical internet heater ever,” an X user suggested.

“This series could run longer than the Simpsons,” someone else predicted.
Angel Reese Made WNBA History This Season

Reese is averaging 10.0 points per game in her second season with Chicago but leads the WNBA in rebounds with 14.0 per game.
Despite her shooting woes, she recently made WNBA history by becoming the fastest player to reach 500 points and 500 rebounds, doing so in just 38 games.
While she’s a monster on the boards, fans have noted that many of her rebounds come from her own misses.
