Nate Rateliff at AFC Championship Game

They were not impressed.

NFL fans did not enjoy the national anthem ahead of the AFC Championship Game on Sunday.

The Denver Broncos are hosting the New England Patriots at home and brought Nathaniel Rateliff out to perform the Star-Spangled Banner. It’s safe to assume fans weren’t impressed, based on social media reactions.

Some thought it was so bad, Rateliff should never be allowed to perform the national anthem again.

“This National Anthem That was something else That’s all I will say,” one shared.

“Bert Kreischer hype up and a horrendous national anthem,” another wrote.

“Go ahead and ban nathaniel rateliff from singing the national anthem moving forward,” one begged.

“Absolutely terrible national anthem. Who chose this guy?” someone asked.

“For anyone who enjoyed that Nathaniel Rateliff national anthem – now you know what it means to be tone deaf,” one user suggested.
