After a breakout WNBA playoff performance, the Indiana Fever star is returning to the 3-on-3 Unrivaled League for more high-level competition

Aliyah Boston continues to prove that her ceiling in the WNBA doesn’t exist, not just during the season, but in the offseason too.
The Indiana Fever standout recently made waves with her announcement that she will return for a second straight year to compete in the 3-on-3 Unrivaled League, an innovative women’s basketball competition that has become a destination for top-tier talent.
This decision follows what was arguably the most impressive stretch of Boston‘s young career.
The third-year center helped carry the Fever to a crucial win-or-go-home playoff victory, delivering an all-around masterclass with 24 points, 14 rebounds, five assists, two steals, and two blocks.
Even more impressive, she accomplished this without the help of star teammate Caitlin Clark, showcasing her ability to lead and dominate independently.
What truly turned heads was Boston‘s ability to go toe-to-toe with A’ja Wilson, a four-time WNBA MVP.
Over the course of their semifinal series, Boston managed to lock down Wilson in two of four games, a feat that only further solidified her growing reputation as one of the league’s elite bigs.
Boston set to run it back in the Unrivaled League
In the wake of that postseason performance, Boston confirmed her return to the Unrivaled League, which provides an opportunity for players to stay sharp and compete during the WNBA offseason in a faster-paced 3-on-3 format.
Last season, she suited up for Team Vinyl and helped take the squad all the way to the finals.
Though they fell short, losing to Rose BC, led by Lexie Hull and Angel Reese, Boston‘s contributions were solid throughout the tournament.
She averaged 5.9 points and five rebounds per game in the unique half-court format, and fans were eager to see her back in action.
This year’s Unrivaled League promises to be even more competitive, with new teams like Breeze BC and Hive BC joining the mix.
The league, designed to create more professional opportunities for women’s basketball players while keeping them in peak shape year-round, continues to draw elite names, and Boston‘s return adds star power to the upcoming season.
Fans and analysts alike have praised her commitment to skill development, competitive intensity, and growing leadership.
The extra reps, high-level competition, and public exposure are also expected to positively influence her WNBA career.
At just 24 years old, Aliyah Boston is quickly becoming one of the most well-rounded forwards in the game. Her dominance in both the full-court and 3-on-3 formats showcases her adaptability and basketball IQ.
With rising stars like Caitlin Clark by her side in Indiana and now another offseason of competition ahead, Boston appears poised to reach new heights in 2026, and beyond.
