KEZI sports reporter Liv Cleary is certainly going places. She proved just how professional she can be when surrounded by drunken fans.

In a win against Lafayette, a few Beavers fans stood out with their behavior.

Reser Stadium was the site of a game against the Lafayette Leopards, which was the best chance they would have of finally securing a victory in the 2025 season.

In the first half of that game, the team had put up just ten points and was losing to the visiting team by three, but they were showing signs of life.

KEZI sports reporter Liv Cleary was simply trying to relay her report on Oregon State, but the fan base had other ideas.

All around her were drunk teens and young 20-year-olds screaming the phrase, “six-seven,” while others got into her shot and bothered her. Even when she stopped talking, the trolling behind her wouldn’t stop.

It finally happened. The Beavers defeated a team in 2025. They beat Lafayette, 45-13, on Saturday at Reser Stadium.

The Beavers snapped an eight-game losing streak dating back to last season.

OSU rallied during the second half with five touchdowns after initially being down at the half.

Oregon State’s Robb Akey, named interim coach after Trent Bray was fired seven games into his second year as Oregon State head coach, made a key move when he benched starting quarterback Maalik Murphy after the first series of the second half.

Redshirt sophomore backup Gabarri Johnson went seven for nine for 79 yards and one touchdown. He also had one interception. He also used his feet as he ran for 82 yards on six carries and added another touchdown.

Oregon State quarterback Gabarri Johnson did not take long to rank this game among his best collegiate memories.
