Angel Reese has been the talk of a lot of headlines, but the next one might even shock her.

Conspiracy theories on social media can range from something you might believe to something that is downright unbelievable, and yet many people find themselves convinced by them.

When conspiracy theories involve sports, it’s usually fans thinking a league is purposely trying to get one team to win for a variety of reasons. The Chiefs have been part of many of those, especially since Taylor Swift began dating Travis Kelce.

One of the more notable once is that Swift and Kelce were fake dating for PR, something Kansas City Chiefs owner and CEO Clark Hunt shut down when he said, “You know, when they were just starting off dating, there were a lot of people saying, ‘Oh, it’s a marketing stunt,’ but no, it’s very real … and the most important thing is we’re happy for the two of them.”

And then there’s Aaron Rodgers, who has spouted off many of his own, most notable of which is claiming the set of Ellen DeGeneres’ old show looked like a spot on Epstein Island.

Now, Chicago Sky star Angel Reese is going viral over an unhinged claim about her and Gianna Bryant.

On January 26, 2020, the world came to a stop when news broke of Kobe and Gianna Bryant, along with seven others, tragically losing their life in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California.

More than five years later, we now have a man on social media claiming that Gianna Bryant did not actually die, and that she and Angel Reese are the same person.

“Fittest Flat Earther” on YouTube notes that the angel wings surrounding Gianna in many of her pictures are one connection, as well as a moment when Reese held the Larry O’Brien trophy and stated that it reminded her of Kobe.

He also introduced Shaq into the theory, highlighting their close connection and noting that the former Lakers great is a Freemason. If that wasn’t enough evidence, Flat Earther produced side-by-side pictures of Gianna and Angel Reese to show that they have the same eyebrows, game face, faces lining up symmetrically, similar markings on their faces, and so much more.

Gianna Bryant was 13 when she passed away and would be 19 years old in 2025. Angel Reese is 23 right now. Unfortunately for him, Reese was a high school senior at the same time Gianna had died, so they couldn’t possibly be the same person.
