Bad Bunny has heard all the complaints about his upcoming Super Bowl performance, and now he is hearing from the President of the United States.
The backlash against the NFL’s selection of Bad Bunny for the Super Bowl halftime performance has reached a new level now that Donald Tru::mp has spoken out against it.
President Donald Tru::mp blasted the NFL after Puerto Rican musician Bad Bunny was selected to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show, branding the move as “absolutely ridiculous” and “crazy.”
The President claimed he had “never heard” of the Puerto Rican singer, despite him being a global artist who is one of the biggest musical artists on the planet, with over 107 billion streams on Spotify and 49.5 million followers on Instagram.
In an interview with the President on NewsMax’s Greg Kelly Reports, the host said to Tru::mp:
“The NFL just chose the Bad Bunny rabbit or whatever his name is…This guy, who hates ICE, he doesn’t like you, he accuses everything he doesn’t like of racism.”
He would then ask Tru::mp if people should consider boycotting the NFL over the decision.
“This guy does not seem like a unifying entertainer, and a lot of folks don’t even know who he is.”
“I never heard of him,” Tru::mp added.
“I don’t know who he is, I don’t know why they’re doing it, it’s like, crazy.
“Then they blame it on some promoter that they hired to pick up entertainment. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous.”
Tru::mp supporter and former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick also criticized the idea of having him perform on stage in Levi’s Stadium as she spoke about his Spanish-speaking.
“Oh fun,” the former race car driver turned analyst said on X.
“No songs in English should not be allowed at one of America’s highest rated television events of the year … not just for sports.”

Bad Bunny, who performs primarily in Spanish and has been outspoken in his criticism of Tru::mp’s immigration policies, will make history as the first male Latin artist to lead the iconic halftime performance.
He has seen the many hate messages on social media about him being chosen to perform.
He appeared unfazed by the backlash as he mocked his critics in a monologue in Spanish on Saturday Night Live.
“If you didn’t understand what I just said, you have four months to learn,” he said.
The 31-year-old Puerto Rican native, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, said he was “excited” to be named the headlining act.
In the meantime, his biggest haters are pushing to “boycott” the Super Bowl 60 Halftime Show this year after a major petition was launched to replace him. “Replace bad bunny in the Super Bowl halftime show” has over 8,000 signatures as of this writing.
