Social media roasted NFL legend Tom Brady after a photo of him playing basketball with his son, Jack, and New York Knicks superstar Karl-Anthony Towns went viral.

Jack, 18, is the son of Tom Brady and actress Bridget Moynahan. The seven-time Super Bowl champion also has a son named Benjamin and a daughter named Vivian with his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen.

Before Brady got ready for his second NFL Thanksgiving game as an analyst for Fox Sports (they’re at Ford Field to call the Detroit Lions’ home game against the Green Bay Packers), the NFL icon and Jack met up with Karl-Anthony Towns for a basketball session:


Though Tom Brady is 6-foot-4, fans couldn’t help but tease him over the fact that the 18-year-old Jack is already taller than he is.

“@tombrady I love a short king 👑 😂🔥,” one fan wrote on Instagram.

“Jack taller than his dad?! 😳,” asked another.

“Wait Jack is taller than his old man now?” a fan asked.

“Hey Shorty,” a user teased.

“Jack is taller than TB. Go Knicks ❤️,” a fan wrote.

“Yo, your son is taller than you GOAT Brady?” asked another.

Jack has played quarterback and safety in high school football and has competed in soccer and lacrosse as well.

The three-time NFL MVP has drawn mixed reviews as an analyst at Fox Sports, with a recent poll suggesting that fans actually prefer Greg Olsen over Tom Brady. Olsen was on Fox’s No. 1 team with Kevin Burkhardt for two seasons before Brady took over that spot.

Fox gave Brady a 10-year deal worth $375 million in 2022, before he began his final playing season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Brady’s style and energy have been widely panned by some, not to mention the incident where he appeared to drop an “F-bomb” during the Philadelphia Eagles-New York Giants Week 8 game.

But Fox gave Brady a massive, near-$400 million deal for a reason. The biggest star in league history is going to draw plenty of attention, regardless of his performance. Love or hate Brady as an analyst, he’s not going anywhere away from the booth.
