Trevon Diggs’ 2025 season just got worse.

Diggs has been dealing with a knee injury throughout the 2025 NFL season.

Now he has suffered yet another injury, and he was nowhere near a football field when it happened.

Dallas Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer told reporters on Friday that Trevon Diggs suffered an accident at home last night and is in concussion protocol. Because of that, he will miss Sunday’s contest against the Commanders.

According to Schottenheimer, the team is gathering more information, but Diggs “seems to be doing okay.”

This is yet another chapter in a trying 2025 campaign for Diggs.

Late last month, Diggs went viral for not joining the team huddle against the Packers.

Before the season started, it was reported that the owner and general manager of the Dallas Cowboys, Jerry Jones, did Trevon Diggs dirty with their nasty half-a-million-dollar decision.

His docked pay involved failing to participate in at least 84 percent of offseason workouts.

Diggs has appeared in Dallas’ first six regular-season contests this year. For the season, he has 13 tackles and zero interceptions.

Diggs, a two-time Pro Bowler and 2021 NFL All-Pro, was coming off his second consecutive season with a season-ending knee injury. He only appeared in two games in 2023 before he tore his ACL, and played 11 games in 2024 before he needed surgery to repair the same knee.

His health has turned for the worse ever since he had 11 interceptions in the 2021 season.

From the opening tip, Doncic was locked in. By halftime, Doncic had racked up 31 points on 11-of-16 shooting in just 19 minutes—marking the 10th time in his career he’s scored 30 or more in a single half.
