Charlie Kirk’s wife, Erika Kirk, has become a lightning storm for criticism since she was thrust into the spotlight after he was sh0t down on the campus of Utah State University.

In September, thousands of mourners gathered inside State Farm Stadium, located west of Phoenix, where Turning Point USA, an organization founded by Kirk, is based, to pay tribute to his life and legacy. She caught backlash then when she kept using a hand sign that was later revealed as an ‘I love you’ gesture.

Kirk, who is now the CEO of the conservative movement’s leading young Republicans group following the assassination of her husband, Charlie Kirk, has been ripped by trolls at every turn ever since she embraced Vance last month at a Turning Point campaign event.

The moment went viral, and people began to analyze their body language, passing judgment on the appropriateness of the embrace.

She was finally asked about that moment.

Erika Kirk says Touching JD Vance’s Behind Would Prompt Less Backlash Than The Hug

Erika Kirk is defending her recent hug with JD Vance during an October Turning Point event.

Kirk, who made it clear that she forgives the k%ller of Charlie Kirk, addressed all the online chatter about her hug with Vice President JD Vance, saying that her “love language is touch.”

Speculation about whether something was going on between the pair was so widespread that Kirk addressed them during an appearance on the Megyn Kelly Live show in Glendale, Arizona.

“Whoever is hating on a hug needs a hug themselves,” Kirk said.

“My love language is touch, if you will,” she told Kelly and explained that placing a hand on the back of someone’s head is usually how she hugs everyone.

“They were acting like you touched the back of his a–!” Kelly replied.

Erika Kirk agreed and said, “I feel like I wouldn’t get as much hate if I did that!”

On the other side, Vance has taken a bunch of criticism on his own marriage following the hug with the widow and his remarks about hoping his wife, who was raised Hindu, will “eventually” believe in his Christian faith.
