Courtney Hadwin is entering the boldest chapter of her music career yet, both in sound and image. The former America’s Got Talent sensation recently surprised fans by announcing her upcoming UK tour while debuting a striking new look that immediately drew attention.

At 21, Courtney is no longer the shy teen who first stunned judges with her explosive Golden Buzzer performance of “Hard to Handle” on AGT. She now presents herself as a confident, mature artist who embraces her individuality and refuses to be defined by criticism.

In a recent interview, she reflected on her transformation and the courage it took to grow into her current self. “I think my younger self would be shocked at how much I’ve changed—and proud of how much courage I have now,” she said. “I used to care so much about what people thought. Every hate comment or sly remark hit me really hard. Sometimes I even wondered if I wanted to be in the spotlight at all.”

Today, Courtney is unapologetically herself. Her daring fashion choices symbolize this shift: she steps into the public eye fully owning her style and creative direction, showing that criticism will not hold her back.

Her UK tour, set for February in Birmingham and London with support from the band MuddiBrooke, comes after a year of major milestones. Earlier this year, she released her single Spellbound, followed by her debut album Little Miss Jagged in September. She has also shared a tribute cover of Black Sabbath’s “Changes”, honoring the late Ozzy Osbourne.

Courtney’s journey has not been without challenges. After AGT, she signed with Simon Cowell’s Syco Records and competed on America’s Got Talent: The Champions. When Syco closed in 2020, she chose to forge her path as an independent artist. Reflecting on that time, she said, “I went through a stage where everyone around me told me what I should sound like and who I should be. I was making music I couldn’t relate to. Working with Kevin Bowe helped me stand up for myself and be more honest about who I am.”
