Aidan Hutchinson refused to be drawn into this one.

Former Michigan Wolverines star Aidan Hutchinson didn’t have much to say about Sherrone Moore this week.

Moore, the program’s former head coach, has been on the fringes for over a week now. The university relieved him of his coaching duties amid claims of an “inappropriate relationship” with a staffer…and then he promptly got himself arrested.

The 38-year-old is said to have driven to the house of the staffer in question following his dismissal. She would call the police after he forced his way in and then threatened to kill himself while she watched.

Moore took off once the authorities were summoned; he was picked up at a nearby church shortly after.

School president Domenico Grasso lashed out at Moore in a strong statement.

“This breach of trust by Coach Moore is painful for many in our community, first and foremost, the individuals directly involved in this situation,” he said.

“Yet our swift and decisive action reflects the University’s staunch commitment to a campus culture of respect, integrity and accountability. All of the facts here must be known, so the University’s investigation will continue,” Grasso added.

Hutchinson, a former Michigan star, worked with Moore from 2018 to 2021, before the Detroit Lions made him the second-overall pick in 2022.

He refused to be drawn into speaking about the situation after reporters quizzed him on Wednesday.

“I’m going to decline to comment on that one,” he said.

Well, people did not seem to appreciate his response.

“Sure had a bunch of good comments endorsing the hire and defending his involvement in the cheating scandal,” someone shared.

“Very classless act by Hutch.  He’s clearly no different than anyone else in that corrupt a$$ program,” someone else commented.

“Loud and arrogant until cornered.  Looks how he’s smiling. He was in on the cheating and probably knew about the other cheating. Hope it was worth it to sell your soul,” another comment read.

“Typical “Michigan Man” response…just like Harbaugh “still processing it all”,” a user wrote.

“Considering the rumors about him right now, are you surprised?” a fan asked.

“😂 you ran your mouth all those years now you have nothing to say 😂😂😂😂,” another offered.

What was he supposed to say?

Luka Doncic ‘destroys’ the Mavs on his return. Gets standing ovation and shows love to Mark Cuban

Luka Doncic hits 45 points in his first game in Dallas since being traded to the Los Angeles.

It’s rare for a home crowd to cheer the visiting team, but Luka Doncic’s return to Dallas was no ordinary night.

Just days before February’s trade deadline, the Mavericks shocked the NBA by sending their 26-year-old superstar to the Lakers—a move that outraged fans and sparked backlash toward GM Nico Harrison.

On Wednesday, Doncic played his first game back in Dallas since the trade. The arena was filled with fans in both his old Mavs and new Lakers jerseys, many chanting “Fire Nico” in protest.

Despite the emotion in the air, Doncic delivered a dominant performance, scoring a game-high 45 points to lead the Lakers to a 112-97 win. It was a powerful return for one of the league’s brightest stars—and a night Dallas won’t soon forget

The Mavericks pay tribute to Luka Dončić

While the Mavericks’ decision to trade Luka Doncic remains heavily criticized, they handled his return to Dallas with undeniable grace. The organization made sure his first game back as a Laker was met with respect and appreciation.

Every seat in the arena was draped with a T-shirt reading “Hvala za vse,” which translates from Slovenian to “thank you for everything.” It was a thoughtful nod to Doncic’s heritage and impact on the franchise.

Before tip-off, during the starting lineup announcements, the Mavericks played a tribute video showcasing some of Doncic’s most iconic moments in a Dallas jersey. The emotional gesture clearly resonated—moving Doncic to tears in front of the crowd that once called him their own.

From the opening tip, Doncic was locked in. By halftime, Doncic had racked up 31 points on 11-of-16 shooting in just 19 minutes—marking the 10th time in his career he’s scored 30 or more in a single half.
