Kelly Osbourne has been going through much following the loss of her father, musician Ozzy Osbourne, earlier this year. Recently, the star has also been under criticism for her appearance. However, someone close to Kelly has publicly come to her defense. This also came out after Kelly herself recently addressed this criticism on social media.

In a recent social media clip, shared on “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” Kelly recently addressed criticism she had been facing over her appearance after recent weight loss. At the time, many expressed concern over her appearance, with many asking what was going on. As previously reported, back in November, there was concern she was dealing with an illness or the side effects of medicine.

For her part, Kelly wanted to address “the people who keep thinking they’re being funny and mean by writing comments like, ‘Are you ill, or ‘Get off Ozempic,’ or ‘You don’t look right.’” She continued, “My dad just died, and I’m doing the best that I can, and the only thing I have to live for right now is my family. And I choose to share my content with you and share the happy side of my life, not the miserable side of my life.”

Kelly Also Recently Discussed Critics During An Instagram Story

During the recent episode, someone close to Kelly also came to her defense: her mother, Sharon. Speaking with Piers, she shared, “She’s lost her daddy. She can’t eat right now.”

“How many times have we been wrong about somebody because of our perception? But you and I don’t take the point where we’d spend a second — wasting a second of our lives in writing something about them.”

As noted by Page Six, Kelly also recently addressed these critics during an Instagram Story share. At the time, she told critics, “All you’ve achieved is being a bully. It’s sick. You’re mentally ill.”

“For example, you say that I look ill. Well, I am ill right now. My life is completely flipped upside down. I don’t understand why people expect me to bounce back and look like everything is just fine in my life when it’s not.”
