“F-All the voters,” he wrote to his Instagram Stories after losing the Heisman to Fernando Mendoza. The Commodores’ veteran signal caller lashed out on social media and then made it even worse. Pavia was spotted partying in a New York City club after the Heisman ceremonies. One sign that Diego Pavia brought with him said, “F–k Indiana.”

His personality reminded fans of what happened to Shedeur Sanders. Multiple teams passed on him, and he wouldn’t be selected until the final day of the Draft. He slid all the way into the fifth round and fourth on the Cleveland Browns depth chart.

According to The Athletic, Pavia has earned mostly “priority free agent” grades from NFL scouts. They’ve also indicated that they wouldn’t be surprised if he’s selected in the later rounds.
