ANDY Cohen went into a drunken rant live on CNN last night, leaving his co-host Anderson Cooper visibly cringing.
It’s a tradition for the duo to have a glass or two while winding down for New Year’s Eve.

Together the pair chat and banter for hours before the year comes to an official end, at the same time waiting to cover the NYC ball drop.
Soon after the famed event, with cheering crowds just behind them, Andy started to begin ranting about mayor Eric Adams.
With a drink still in his hands, Andy began: “Watching the final moments of Mayor Adams’s chaotic…”
Before his mate could even finish his sentence, Anderson immediately said: “Oh no, I’m out”, wanting nothing to do with any drama.
Andy persisted with his statement, despite Anderson interrupting and saying “Don’t” on a number of occasions.
“I just want to say…”, he started up again, before Anderson interrupted him again. ‘Don’t,’ he said while attempting to walk out of frame.
But the camera pulled back to keep the pair in frame together while Andy continued his spiel.
“He got his pardons.
“I’m just saying, great, you got your pardons.
“Go off into the sunset
“We’ll fiddle with what we have, with what you’ve left us with.”
Anderson gently said, “He can’t help himself” trying to play off Andy’s behavior.
Though Andy did end his rant with one positive note about the decline of rodents in New York: “But I will say this, I think he maybe dented the rat population.”
Viewers of the show absolutely ate up the moment and couldn’t help but congregate online to chat about what happened.
“The years may change but Andy Cohen railing against the outgoing mayor of NYC stays the same,” wrote one user.
“Andy Cohen drunk af on CNN while Anderson Cooper tries to stay out of the frame is gold,” added another.
A third chimed in by simply adding a stream of laughing face emojis.
