The initial anger towards Lane Kiffin has somewhat subsided. He is now free to enjoy his family without the backlash coming from social media.

Landry Kiffin is celebrating her big 21st birthday. The daughter of the new LSU coach is bringing in an important milestone in her life. In an Instagram post, she shared highlights from her gathering.

Everything began and ended with her stylish white dress as she posed with family and friends. Of course, her father, Lane Kiffin, was also there. He sported a traditional suit.

LSU linebacker Whit Weeks, who is dating Landry, was also there to celebrate her. The head coach is set to coach him in the wake of Brian Kelly’s firing.

Lane Kiffin Needs To Deliver A National Championship

Less than a week after Lane Kiffin bolted from Ole Miss, he landed a recruit. Coming to Baton Rouge is tight end JC Anderson. He flipped from Ole Miss to LSU, according to ESPN’s Eli Lederman.

There is no doubt that Kiffin will attract recruits to change their commitments and build a great team. However, winning double-digit games every year won’t be enough like it was at Ole Miss. Lane Kiffin needs to deliver in Baton Rouge.

LSU came into December with the No. 12 recruiting class in the nation. That figures to get better with Kiffin aboard. Kiffin’s move to LSU has drawn nationwide comment, criticism, and downright hate.

To answer that hate, he needs to make deep runs in the CFP and win it all. That is something he has yet to do as a head coach.

Brian Kelly received three and a half years to try and get it done; all three years produced at least 13 victories and three bowl wins. However, there was no National Championship. He is gone for a reason.

The hot seat for Kiffin won’t begin until 2028 if he hasn’t delivered by then.
