Jesse Watters has been slammed by fans after his wife exposed him for ‘lying’ to them.
The Fox News host is currently off-air after he told viewers he was going to be absent on an “assignment.” However, his wife Emma Watters proved that statement to be not strictly true after she shared an update with her followers on social media.
Taking to Instagram, 34-year-old Emma posted a photo of herself and Jesse, 48, posing alongside his twin daughters from his first marriage, Sophie and Ellie Watters, 14, and the two children he shares with Emma, Jesse Bailey Watters Jr., five, and Georgina “Gigi” Post Watters, three. The family snap was posted alongside the caption “LIV,” indicating that they were at the Bedminster, New Jersey, golfing tournament in the image. It comes after the shocking details of Watters’ messy divorce were laid bare.
Fans who saw Emma’s post were far from impressed, calling Jesse out for his “lying” about where he was going. One wrote, “Jesse you always say your on a big assignment! Why can’t you just say your going on vacation with your family!”
A second said, “Ahhh now I know why your husband wasn’t at work !!! He said it was an assignment…” A third posted, “Thought you said you were on assignment? Not that you lying is a surprise.”

A fourth shared, “This looks like yet another vacation and definitely not an assignment, but okay.” A fifth added, “Jesse, you take more vacations than the Senate.”
It comes after Fox News viewers were so unhappy with The Five’s most recent panel lineup that they switched channels. On Friday, August 7, several fans of the conservative news channel took to X to express their displeasure with the evening show’s co-hosts: Kellyanne Conway, Harold Ford Jr., Jesse Watters, Gillian Turner, and Greg Gutfeld.
While Watters and Gutfeld are regular co-hosts of the Fox News talk show, Conway, Ford Jr., and Turner are not. Their seats are sometimes filled by Kennedy, Jessica Tarlov, Dana Perino, Tyrus, Emily Compagno, and Kayleigh McEnany. On Friday, all of these personalities would’ve been more welcomed than Turner for some viewers, who called her a “terrible substitute.”
On X, one person slammed, “@FoxNews @TheFive Gillian is a terrible substitute on this show!!! Why do you continue to let her? She does not do well on any show. Especially this one. Please listen to your viewers. @DanaPerino @JesseBWatters @greggutfeld.”
Another bashed, “Gillian awful Turner on The Five. Switching channel.”
A third added, “Oh God! Gillian Turner @GillianHTurner is on @TheFive. Changing the channel,” as a fourth said, “Who does Gillian turner know to be on @FoxNews? Never seen a reporter that stammers as much as her. It takes her forever to finish a sentence.”
Yet another said, “No one wants to see or hear Gillian Turner on The Five. She’s a liberal and is worse than Jessica (believe it or not) because she pretends she’s a moderate. She’s a pathetic phony. Sits there under the guise of neutrality.”
