Josie Canseco is once again off the market.

Canseco, the daughter of MLB legend Jose Canseco, appears to be in a new relationship mere months after her union with Johnny Manziel ended.

TMZ first reported that Johnny Manziel and Canseco had split after less than a year together.

The former college football star and the daughter of Jose Canseco had a whirlwind relationship, and it seemed they may have found the perfect person to complement them. Something went on behind the scenes that led to their split, but it was not initially revealed.

They even unfollowed each other on social media and deleted photos of themselves together from their accounts.

Now, Josie Canseco has officially moved on as she went Instagram official with Atlanta Braves pitcher A.J. Smith-Shawver.

Canseco shared an Instagram photo this week showing her arms wrapped around Smith-Shawver while the two were standing in a river together.

Atlanta rookie right-hander AJ Smith-Shawver has plenty of time on his hands to be with Canseco after he underwent Tommy John surgery to reconstruct the ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow.

Smith-Shawver will miss the remainder of the 2025 season. Given the general recovery timeline for the surgery, Smith-Shawver should miss at least the first two months of 2026 and potentially more.

The 22-year-old right-hander had been having a strong campaign, posting a 2.33 ERA through his first seven starts. Prior to the injury, Smith-Shawver was 3-2 with a 3.86 ERA in nine starts.

Former Texas A&M phenomenon and Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel and model Josie Canseco revealed that they are no longer dating earlier this year.

Manizel, who has not played in the NFL since 2015, appeared to be the cause of the split.

TMZ explained that Johnny Manziel’s behavior played a role in his breakup with Canseco.

“As for what sparked the split, people close to the pair say 32-year-old Johnny was a great boyfriend to Jose’s daughter … but it was clear there was some work he had to do on himself,” the report from TMZ states.

TMZ didn’t provide any details of what work Manziel had to do with himself that caused this sudden split.
