The View co-host Ana Navarro’s scathing message to Trump (Image: abc)

During the latest episode of The View, co-host Ana Navarro found herself fuming while giving a message to Donald Trump after he shared a disturbing Truth Social post in the wake of Rob Reiner’s brutal murder.

Reiner, 78, was found dead in his Los Angeles mansion alongside his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, who was 68 when the pair was slain on Sunday, December 14. Trump’s statement accused Reiner of dying “due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME.”

He also added that he “drove people CRAZY by his raging obsession with President Donald J. Trump, with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness, and with the Golden Age of America upon us, perhaps like never before.”

The View panel was discussing his post for their Monday, December 15 Hot Topics segment, where Navarro delivered an anger-fueled message for Trump. She said, “For Trump to have put that out today, I’m gonna say it: Damnit, there’s an American family grieving.

“This is a tragedy, not just for the family, but for all who knew and loved him. For the president to make this about him as a way to attack Rob Reiner because he exercised his American right to speak up with what he disagreed with is shameful. It’s disgraceful. Of all the disgusting things Donald Trump has done, this is right up there,” she finished.

Navarro also praised Reiner, saying ‘there wasn’t a cause he didn’t care about.’ “He cared about immigrants, he cared about equality, he cared about equality and justice. He spoke up in defense of democracy at a time when so many in the media industry, so many with a platform, are afraid to speak,” she shared.

She shared with viewers that Reiner ‘put his money and his mouth where his heart was.’

Following Navarro’s tirade against Trump, fellow host Whoopi Goldberg also unleashed her anger on the president.

“I don’t understand the man in that White House, because he talked so much about Charlie Kirk and caring. And then suddenly, this is what he puts out? Have you no shame? No shame at all?” Goldberg fumed.

She continued intensely, “Can you get any lower? I don’t think so…our hearts are breaking through all of this. Through Rob, through what’s happened at Bondi Beach, through what’s happened at Brown. And you don’t find the time to say, ‘As Americans, we hate what’s happening?” She finished by saying, “You ain’t my president.”

Reiner and his wife allegedly died by stabbing, and their son Nick has been taken into police custody in relation to the case. The LAPD continues to investigate the crime scene and is still providing active updates.

Rob Reiner was a prominent actor and director known for roles including Michael “Meathead” Stivic on All in the Family and for directing films such as When Harry Met Sally, The Princess Bride, A Few Good Men, and This Is Spinal Tap. His wife, Michele Singer Reiner, was a photographer and producer.
