eality TV star Whitney Leavitt is heading to Broadway with a sold-out opening night. The “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star confirmed Friday that the first performance of her limited Broadway run in “Chicago the Musical” has officially sold out.

After her glorious run on “Dancing With the Stars” with Mark Ballas, Leavitt turned ballroom momentum into a Broadway opportunity. She shared the milestone on Instagram with a celebratory video, running through the theater while lip-syncing “NYC” from “Annie.”

“Mood cause we just sold out @chicagomusical opening night!!!!” she captioned the clip.
“So excited to share this journey with you,” she added.


Mark Ballas and Fellow ‘DWTS’ Stars Show Support

Support quickly followed from fans and familiar faces.

Leavitt’s former “Dancing With the Stars” partner Mark Ballas chimed in with encouragement, writing, “LETS GO!!! 🔥🤘🏼✨”

Fellow “DWTS” contestant Alix Earle also confirmed she plans to attend.

“Me n [sic] my fam got our tickets 👏🏻 we’re so excited,” she wrote in the comments.

Leavitt will take on the role of Roxie Hart in the long-running musical from February 2 through March 15.


From the Ballroom to Broadway

Leavitt’s move to Broadway comes after a strong showing on “Dancing With the Stars,” which helped set the stage for her next chapter.

Since the casting announcement, the 32-year-old has shared behind-the-scenes moments from her journey to Broadway, including moving her family to New York and celebrating the holidays in their new home.

“My heart is so full right now,” she wrote on Instagram following the news. “Seeing you all book tickets and make the journey to see @chicagomusical …it means the world to me! I’m gunna give it my all! Can’t wait to see and hug you in the Big Apple.”


What’s Next for Leavitt

While her 2026 begins with Broadway, Leavitt also has a major film project on the way.

The influencer and reality TV star will make her film debut as both executive producer and lead of the holiday romantic comedy “All for Love,” set for release in December 2026. She confirmed the news in a joint Instagram post with co-star Jesse Kove.

“Here’s your Christmas present…but you can’t open it till next year,” the caption read.

“A new holiday movie starring @jessekove & @whitleavitt is coming out December 2026. Wrapped up with a bow by @ninthhousefilms.”

According to the film’s synopsis, Leavitt plays a podcaster who tests the idea of finding love online and finds herself caught between modern dating and an unexpected real-life connection.

“Grateful beyond words to ANNOUNCE that I will be joining @chicagomusical in the iconic role of Roxie Hart,” Leavitt previously wrote when her Broadway casting was revealed. “See you in New York City!”
