Dancing With The Stars former pro, Peta Murgatroyd, has shared some secrets and opened up about her thoughts on the judging. Not only in Season 34, but in seasons in the past. Peta has been giving her thoughts without a care on her podcast. Most of the time with her husband, Maks. However, some of the things they have said have ruffled some feathers. Maks Got Them Into Some Trouble During Season 34

Maks got himself and his wife into some trouble during Season 34. This was something that shocked fans. Maks made it clear that he did not think Jan Ravnik was fit to be a pro dancer. He claimed he did not know ballroom dances, and this was an issue. However, Jan was very popular amongst fans. He was hilarious, and the Swifties loved him for his time on The Eras Tour. Maks ended up apologizing and offering to get coffee with Jan so he could explain. There is no telling if Jan was going to take him up on that offer, though.

Peta Murgatroyd Shares Secrets & Unfair Judging

Peta Murgatroyd has opened up about her thoughts and opinions on the judging. It seems she does not agree with how they score contestants. She may even think it is unfair.

“I didn’t feel like [season 34] was like, ‘Oh, my gosh, what’s happening to the judging?’ But [that’s] because I’ve kind of felt that for a while, as in, like, you need to start lower. That’s not my only thing. If you see somebody really cannot dance, they’re giving it their all and they’re great, but they’re dancing is really terrible. You’re going to give them a really low score to begin with so they can go somewhere.”

She then said the judging of math does not make much sense to her. Fans agreed as they think giving awful dancers a seven is unfair to them and the other dancers. However, it has been this way for a while.

It seems as though Peta thinks the judging is off. She does not necessarily think it was just during the last season, though. Peta thinks they need to give the contestants who truly do not do well lower scores. This is so they can have something to work off of and improve with. A lot of people agree with Peta Murgatroyd and what she had to say.
