Caitlin Clark surpasses LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kobe Bryant as the highest-selling basketball trading card, only behind Michael Jordan.
The Indiana Fever and the WNBA were not even ready for the storm coming their way as Caitlin Clark’s induction to the league brought up new challenges for the team. Luckily, it was a welcome change as both entities enjoyed immense popularity that was unprecedented in the league.
Even NBA Commissioner Adam Silver praised the Fever and Clark for the change in the league’s fortunes. New data came up that once again highlights the gravity of CC-Effect, which surpasses some of the NBA greats like LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and Stephen Curry.

Caitlin Clark And Jayden Daniels Lead 2025 Most Collected Rookie Cards
Even though the Fever guard played in 13 games, her presence on the sidelines also caught the eyes and flooded social media. While many gave credit to the franchise, recent data from PSA (Professional Sports Authority) showed how much fans still look for CC memorabilia.
According to the data, the former Iowa star is the most-collected active basketball player of the year, with over 136,700 cards graded. Interestingly, other NBA superstars lag behind by a huge margin. Kobe Bryant takes fourth position with 74K cards, while LeBron James reached the 59K mark. Michael Jordan leads the list with a massive 206K graded cards.
But even NFL star Jayden Daniels surpasses that number with 236K graded cards, leading the overall list. It is important to note that Caitlin Clark is the only WNBA player in the list.
“Collectors can’t get enough of Caitlin Clark,” PSA president Ryan Hoge said. “Clark’s cards have generated record-breaking demand since entering the collectibles market 2.5 years ago. She’s moved to the No. 1 basketball player, up from No. 6 in the top 10 in 2024.”
Clark already set a record for the highest value rookie trading card for a female athlete, and now this accomplishment highlights that the player is an unstoppable force. While the star amped up the collectables market, Fever GM Kelly Krauskopf labels the player as a driving force.
GM Kelly Krauskopf Praises Caitlin Clark
The Indiana Fever GM Kelly Krauskopf gave an exclusive interview to Fever’s own “Only woman in the room”, and talked about the first championship and recent near miss. She added that the aim is to win more titles with the current roster. She also spoke about the 24-year-old guard’s impact on the league as a whole.
“Let’s be honest. Caitlin Clark is the explosion of the WNBA. The lift has come with her arrival,” Krauskopf said. “It always takes one or two players to take that next lift. And for us and for the league, it’s been Caitlin and the fan base that she’s brought.”
There is no denying the massive fan following CC brings to the game, and these fans are hoping to see her dazzle on the court once again.
