New York Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner has revealed LeBron James’ role in his hookup with rapper Ice Spice, having opened up on his relationship with the rapper during a conversation with TMZ Sports.
The NFL star spoke to the outlet in Los Angeles this week and told them things are “cool” with Spice.
They add that, “as it turns out, LeBron James had a role in their coupling!!”
“While Sauce didn’t sing like a bird, he did say he liked how things were going … and raved about all they have in common,” TMZ relayed.
Among those things in common are being based in New York, experiencing success early, and having plenty of haters.

Sauce also spilled the beans on how he ended up with Ice Spice, revealing they first met during a taping for James’ show, ‘The Shop’, last April. They joined LBJ, Travis Scott, and Chad Johnson on the show and apparently hit it off.
LeBron James set the pick; Sauce Gardner made the move. And a year later, they’re a bona fide couple, all thanks to LeMatchmaker.
“Sauce and Spice” does have quite the ring to it. James knew what he was doing.
