Moore, who was arrested just hours after learning he was no longer the HC at Michigan, has been charged with serious criminal offenses. One of them carries a potential five-year penalty.

According to reports, the 39-year-old was charged with home invasion, stalking, and breaking and entering without breaking, with prosecutors announcing as much.

Home invasion is a third-degree felony and is punishable by up to five years in prison, per Michigan legislature.

Moore attended his arraignment virtually on Friday afternoon, and the look on his face said it all.

Wearing a white jumpsuit and seated with his hands clasped together, he watched on as a prosecutor described the allegations.

Contrary to previous reports, Moore never threatened the female staffer he was accused of seeing. However, he did enter her house without permission and threatened to kill himself while she watched, according to her account.

It’s said that he only left when she said she would call the police.

While it was acknowledged that he didn’t actually threaten Paige Shiver, the prosecutor suggested that he should be kept in custody because it wouldn’t be safe to have him out in public.
