Alex Morgan was at the ESPYs on Wednesday night and was a sight for sore eyes.
The former soccer star, who hung up her cleats in 2024, received the Icon Award and looked stunning while doing so.
Morgan announced her retirement last year, admitting that the decision wasn’t easy, but she was at peace with it.
“The impact we have on the next generation is irreversible, and I am proud of the hand I had in making that happen, pushing the game forward, and leaving it in a place that I am so happy and proud of,” she said.
She took center stage to accept the aforementioned accolade, with her legendary career with the USWNT and impact on soccer recognized as part of the event, receiving it alongside WNBA icon Diana Taurasi.

The above wasn’t the only reason Morgan was trending online, however. Cameras would pan to the two-time Women’s Soccer Athlete of the Year after host Shane Gillis made a savage joke about Bill Belichick and his relationship with 24-year-old Jordon Hudson.
“A bookie is what Bill Belichick reads to his girlfriend before bedtime,” Gillis said as the camera panned to Morgan, who clearly enjoyed the quip.
Check her out in the clip below:
“Good Lord Alex Morgan,” a fan wrote in the comments.
“They read ‘The Very Horny Caterpillar,’ ‘The Little Engine That Could But Needed A Pill First,’ and of course the classic, ‘Good Night Boobs,” Gillis added.
The comedian went on to suggest that the people complaining about Belichick are simply jealous of the legendary NFL coach.
“I’m not trashing Bill Belichick. First off, he’s 72 years old and he’s dating a 24 year old. What happened to this country?” he asked.
“He won six Super Bowls. He’s dating a hot 24 year old. Maybe if you guys won six Super Bowls, you wouldn’t be sitting next to an ugly dog wife.”
Gillis made sure to point out that Disney allowed all of his jokes, though they should have probably kept that particular one out.
Fearne Cotton has broken her silence on split from husband Jesse Wood in her first TV interview since the breakup.
Joining Lorraine Kelly on Monday’s episode of the ITV show, the TV presenter, 43, also gave an health update after having two tumours removed from jaw.
Fearne announced her split from Jesse, the son of Rolling Stones bass guitarist Ronnie Wood, in December after 10 years of marriage.
She has since made swipes at Jesse and moved on with TV director Elliot Hegarty, with the pair having been seen kissing during a recent night out.
Fearne has had a difficult few months after undergoing surgery to remove two benign tumours from her jawline, just days before her split with Jesse emerged.
She told host Lorraine: ‘It’s all very amicable and kids are doing great. I am in a very good place.’place.’

Discussing her recent surgery, she added: ‘I feel very grateful to have completely recovered.
‘I feel really good. I have a lot of people reaching out who have had the same thing.’
Davina McCall, 56, announced in November she’d been diagnosed with a colloid cyst, a rare type of benign brain tumour, and has supported Fearne.
She continued: ‘Everyone needs a Davina. She’s been amazing, weird that we had the same health thing going on at the same time. She’s so calming and we speak every day. She is just the best
It comes after Fearne has seemingly made another thinly-veiled dig at her ex-husband as she gushed that she is the happiest she’s ever been in a positive update.
Speaking to Scott Mills on his BBC Radio 2 breakfast show, Fearne gushed that she is ‘really happy’ and is ‘springing out of bed in the morning ready for life’.
Scott, who has known Fearne for 25 years, said he has never seen her ‘more positive or happier’, prompting Fearne to agree and reply: ‘Yeah I feel great!’

Just sudden silence and then a camera rolling. The first episode replaced punchlines with gravity, centering on the name Virginia Giuffre and allegations long debated in public discourse. Within hours, view counts surged and timelines erupted with fierce arguments and stunned reactions. Supporters called it historic. Critics demanded proof. One episode. One name.
