Red Panda came crashing down.
The popular halftime show performer fell off her unicycle and crashed to the court during intermission of the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup final between the Indiana Fever and the Minnesota Lynx on Tuesday night.
She was so hurt that she was unable to finish her show.
After the fall, she appeared to be grabbing her left wrist. She fell forward off the unicycle onto the court and was helped off the floor by a wheelchair.
At first, she was on her feet, but later, as seen in a video posted by The Athletic’s Ben Pickman, she required the assistance of a wheelchair.
Red Panda, whose name is Rong Niu, is a Chinese American woman who comes from a family of performing acrobats.
Niu is a popular acrobat who has become a legend of the halftime performance circuit. She has appeared at NBA, WNBA, and college basketball games for decades. Her first NBA game was in 1993.
She is widely beloved by fans.
Niu also appeared on season eight of America’s Got Talent and season 18 of its sister show, Britain’s Got Talent.
Is Red Panda Okay?

The popular halftime performer, Red Panda, was injured at the start of her performance at the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup championship game between the Indiana Fever and Minnesota Lynx at Target Center on Tuesday.
Panda, the stage name for acrobat Rong Niu, rides a unicycle that sits 8 feet above the ground and balances bowls on her head.
Medical personnel tended to her and then brought out a wheelchair to take her off the court.
No update was given on her condition, although a WNBA source told ESPN after the game that she was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
