LeBron James Endorsed Kamala Harris. Then She Paid His Company $50K.

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James didn’t shy away from sharing his thoughts on Donald Trump and Kamala Harris last fall, that’s for sure.

Leading up to the presidential election, James posted a compilation video of President Trump’s past remarks. The message was very clear: “VOTE FOR KAMALA HARRIS.” The four-time NBA champion added that his “choice” between Harris and Trump was clear.

James later told NBA reporters that he was voting for Harris because he wanted to protect women’s rights.

“Having a daughter, having a wife, having a mother and things of that nature, what (Harris) believes in when it comes to women’s rights that’s what the future with my kids and where I see our country should be. I feel like that endorsement is only right. I mean, come on – you guys know me,” James said. “It damn sure wasn’t going the other way.”

Well, it appears James’ entertainment company received a nice payday for posting an anti-Trump message on social media.

According to Fox News, records show that James’ company was paid $50,000 by Harris for “campaign event production.”

It’s no secret that James isn’t very fond of Trump. Back in 2017, he ripped the president for rescinding Steph Curry’s invite to the White House.

“U bum @StephenCurry30 already said he ain’t going! So therefore ain’t no invite. Going to White House was a great honor until you showed up

If the Lakers make a run to the NBA Finals this year, it’s hard to believe James will accept an invitation from Trump.
